A new month – a new theme. This month it’ll be 2 parted MAP marches suitable for grade 4 bands to play in competition.

This weeks score of the week was used as an intro to a medley played back in 2001 by a grade 4 band of combined bands, pipers and drummers to compete at the Danish Championships same year. The drum score is based on a standard 2/4 march score, with variations to fit to the piping tune. The score for this strathspey came about 10 years ago when a beginner student of mine wanted to explore strathspeys.
